Anastasia aghladze

Artistic director of Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Nikoloz Rachvli writes: “From the very first minute when I listened to Anastasia Agladze’s performance I became a fan and admirer of her. This very young violinist has a really rare characteristic features that, in the case of the right development and lucky career path, gives rise to another international star on the stage in Georgia. She has a high quality sound, intelligence and charisma, a charm that is always relevant to the stage.” Anastasia Agladze, born in 2003 in Tbilisi, completed her violin studies in 2020 atthe Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School in Tbilisi, under the guidance of Professor Manana Kantaria. Since then, she has been studying at the Barenboim- Said Academy in Berlin, under the tutelage of Professor Mihaela Martin. Anastasia Agladze is the recipient of numerous national and international competition awards, such as the J.S. Bach International Competition (2016), O. Taktakishvili International Competition (2017), and the Music Seasons Art-DuoCompetition (2018). Additionally, she has attended masterclasses by renownedmusicians including Julia Fischer, Mihaela Martin, Lisa Batiashvili, and Daniel Barenboim to refine her skills. Anastasia Agladze has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Tsinandali Festival in Georgia, the Mecklenburg- Vorpommern Music Festival, Youth Classics in Switzerland, and the New Generation Music Festival in Georgia. She has also appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra and the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2021, she became a scholar of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation. In 2023 Anastasia Agladze made her debut concert at the Vienna Konzerthaus performing as part of the concert featuring the scholarship recipients of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation.
