WELCOME NINA LIMBURG – A VERSATILE TALENT ON THE BOARD OF THE LISA BATIASHVILI FOUNDATION

Since the beginning of 2024, Nina Limburg has been responsible for the operational management of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation and was elected to the board of the organization in October. With her artistic background and extensive life experience, she is a valuable addition to our team.

Born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, Nina witnessed the historic transformation at the end of the Soviet era. After completing her music studies in Tbilisi and advanced masterclasses in Russia, Germany, France, and the United States, she worked as both a pianist and an educator in music. She also gained significant management experience, including in her role as deputy director of the Music and Arts Academy in Ingolstadt, Germany.

As a global citizen fluent in six languages and the mother of six grown children, Nina now lives in Zurich, Switzerland, where she continues to be active in education.

Willkommen Nina Limburg – ein vielseitiges Talent im Vorstand der Lisa Batiashvili Foundation

Seit Anfang 2024 verantwortet Nina Limburg das operative Management der Lisa Batiashvili Foundation und wurde im Oktober in den Vorstand des Vereins gewählt. Mit ihrer künstlerischen Bildung und ihrer umfassenden Lebenserfahrung bereichert sie unser Team auf besondere Weise.

Aufgewachsen in Tbilisi, Georgien, erlebte Nina den historischen Umbruch am Ende der Sowjetära. Nach einem Musikstudium in Tiflis und weiterführenden Meisterkursen in Russland, Deutschland, Frankreich und den USA war sie sowohl als Pianistin als auch in der Musikpädagogik aktiv. Sie sammelte zudem wertvolle Managementerfahrung, unter anderem als stellvertretende Leiterin der Musik- und Kunstakademie Ingolstadt.

Als sechssprachige Weltenbürgerin und Mutter von sechs erwachsenen Kindern lebt sie heute in Zürich, Schweiz, wo sie weiterhin pädagogisch tätig ist.
