Sandro Nebieridze

Sandro (*2001) began his musical training in Tbilisi at the age of five with Lali Sanikidze and shortly after took on composition with Maka Virsaladze. He won First Prize at the China International Music Competition 2019, previously having been recognized as the Grand-Prix Winner at the Grand Piano Competition amongst others. In 2021, Sandro was awarded second prize of the 19th Kissingen PianoOlymp. His first album was released in 2019, featuring solo works for piano by Rachmaninov and Prokofiev (Harmonia Mundi). Previously a student of Tbilisi State Conservatory, since September 2021 he has been studying at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in the class of Prof. Antti Siirala.
